As a fulltime corporate man and part-time freelance writer, I spend a whole lot of time on the computer. Tapping away under a desk light might be good for my income and career, but not so great for my relationship. My bedmate complains how my workaholism keeps her up at night (the nerve!).

So naturally, I was delighted to come across the USB Brando flexible illuminated keyboard. The keyboard is made of flexible silicone, making it to use on all surfaces, flat or not. The keyboard also illuminates (hence the name), or glows, in the dark, a feature that can be turned on and off at will. And because its not made of plastic, there is no “click, click” noise to disturb my roomie.

Added bonus… If you happen to get juice, soda, or any “other” liquid material stuck on top of or in between the keys, you only need wipe the keyboard with a damp cloth or run it under the sink to clean. And you can roll it up to put into a book bag or into a desk draw.

If you’re married to a computer-addicted workaholic, defintely consider picking up one of these keyboards. You’ll likely benefit from it more than they will.
